Kristin Tyler Harris is an associate with Brody, Hardoon, Perkins & Kesten, LLP. Ms. Harris has been successful in obtaining pre-trial dismissals of claims against municipalities for lack of jurisdiction and insufficient evidence. Ms. Harris recently assisted in the representation of two patrol officers, a Chief of Police and former Chief of Police at trial in the United States District Court. The Plaintiff had alleged that his civil rights were violated by the issuance of criminal charges against him following his appeal of the revocation of his firearms license.
Prior Experience
Before joining Brody, Hardoon, Perkins & Kesten, LLP, Ms. Harris was in private practice, specializing in civil litigation. In law school, she participated in the Suffolk Voluntary Defender’s Program, representing indigent clients in the Boston Municipal Court. She has also worked as an intern for the Suffolk Superior Court Probation Department.
Education
Ms. Harris received her bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology, cum laude, from Boston College. In 2002, she received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the Transnational Law Review.
